Going to have a give away.

Hello Blogger Peeps! I've never done a giveaway like this before but I'm going to give it a try and see how it works out. I'm announcing the giveaway before it actually starts. Why, you may be asking. Well, because it's different and because I want to give my regular followers an extra opportunity to win. Here's the gist of it.

For those who are already a follower, if you sign up for the giveaway before the "start date" of the giveaway, you will receive not one, but two extra chances to win this cutting board. Rather than making my followers jump through hoops (to earn extra chances) by announcing the giveaway on their blog, FB or Twitter, all you have to do is sign up before the official announcement. After the official announcement, if you make another comment or even simply post your name, I will give you another chance. So, that will make 3 opportunities for you to win.

So, about this cutting board: I love cutting boards. I love the scarred wood that show the board was pulled out everyday and used in the preparation of a family meal. This board was sitting under a few items at my local antique store. I saw the handle sticking out and hoped that it was a cutting board. What a thrill when I moved things off of it and saw it indeed was what I had hoped. I'm so glad someone piled a few items on it to keep it hidden until I found it. I painted a Terrye French design on this board. I added some homespun and a vintage cookie cutter to finish it.
