I feel like Dorthy in the Land Of Oz. I have not met the scarecrow, tin man or cowardly lion; I have not met the Wizard of Oz nor has a wicked witch been hot on my heels. I have had a few adventures but none of them has involved a tornado and a flying house (although a few of those twisters have been close by). So, why do I feel like Dorthy? I'm longing for home!! I've been here since the 25th of April. The good news is that I will be going home...sometime next week. I am so glad to be arriving in time to celebrate Father's Day. I was here for Mother's Day and missed the wonderful celebration with my family. I have missed my family immensely, I even missed my rambunctious dog SadieMae. There is so much to do and catch up on, I will taking a few days off for those things and to rest. And boy, do I need the rest.
My apologies that I have been neglecting my blog. I have been working longs hours but also I haven't had access to the photos I want to use (not loaded on my laptop) and I forgot to bring my camera. I'll catch up on things when I get home. Thanks for staying tuned to my blog.
